Industrial Janitor

What we are looking for:

- Ability to work in a team setting, and work independently with mínimal supervision
- The ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, which may include bending, stooping, reaching, twisting, lifting, standing, walking, repetitive motion, and other job specific requirements
- Attention to detail
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Ability to read and understand blueprint drawings
- Great attendance is a critical requirement.
- Someone looking to take complete ownership for their position and job duties.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs

Job Responsibilities:

- Perform general housekeeping duties in plant, kitchen, bathrooms, and offices.
- Emptying garbage and recycle bins in the production areas.
- Mopping floor in high traffic areas
- Operate cleaning equipment i.e., Zamboni.
- Assist with checking and stocking toiletry supplies.
- Maintain outdoor cleanliness around dust collector, waste bins, loading dock and more.
- Remove snow from sidewalks and sand in winter.
- Moving of product / machinery - clearing the dock
- Light maintenance projects in the plant i.e., floor taping etc.
- Perform other duties as assigned which are directly related to the major responsibilities of the job.

**Salary**: $17.50-$18.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- London, ON N6L 1P8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 3 years (preferred)
- janitorial: 3 years (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driving Licence (preferred)

Shift availability:

- Night Shift (preferred)
