Morning Baker

We are seeking a morning Baker to join our team at Smoke Bluff Coffee. As a Baker, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of baked goods to meet the demands of our customers. This job starts at 4:30am and goes until 11am 4-5days/week. Although we have many daily staples, there is lots of room for creativity and to bring your own flare to the position.

**Duties**:

- Prepare and bake a wide range of bakery items according to our unique recipes
- Prepare sandwiches
- Decorate and present baked goods in an appealing manner
- Monitor oven temperatures and baking times to ensure proper cooking
- Maintain inventory of baking supplies and ingredients
- Clean and sanitize work area and equipment

**Skills**:

- Experience as a Baker in a restaurant or catering setting. We're supportive and happy to train but a base knowledge is preferred
- Ability to follow recipes accurately and adjust ingredients as needed
- Attention to detail and precision in measurements
- Creativity in flavours and your own recipes
- Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines in a shared kitchen

**Salary**: $22.00-$28.00 per hour
