experience**Monarch Landscaping is looking to hire Landscape Construction Lead Hand for the Hamilton area.**

The majority of the time the work day will start at 8:30 am-4:30 pm, we typically work around 1-2 days a week on general landscaping and then on the other days we focus on hardscaping projects such as interlocking, retaining walls, garden bed walls and fire pits.

We are looking for a landscape construction lead hand who takes pride in their craft as landscapers and wants to provide the best work they can for our customers. This ideal person will have the skills but more importantly a positive mindset, great work ethic, reliability, and being on time.
- 3+ Years of patio stones/ paver interlocking installation
- 2+ Years of retaining walls/ Garden bed wall installation
- 1+ Years of firepits
- Experience with general landscaping such as (sodding, weed removal, pruning, hedge trimming, mulching and mowing)
- Full G license

Nice to have
- Experience using a bobcat or skid steer
- Experience driving with a trailer

What you will do
- Understand complete project goals and visions, and independently outline ordered steps to complete projects.
- Excavate, prepare base, grade / screed, transfer materials and stone, and install.
- Use company funds to purchase and deliver materials, tracking and replenishing on-the-job stock as instructed.
- Safely secure all materials / equipment onto company trucks and trailers for transfer
- Complete daily vehicle inspections and drive vehicles and trailers to and from jobsite,
- Consistently utilize Google calendar to keep track of job schedule.
- Mentor Crew Members and with on-the-job training
- Also be able to help out team with softscaping jobs as needed (Sod install, yard cleanups and weed removal)

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as Needed

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required
