Skid Steer Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- Operating equipment, particularly skidsteer
- Loading and unloading construction materials, & moving them to work areas
- Communicating/coordinating with swamper/ground crew
- Cleaning up chemical spills or other contaminants
- Oiling and greasing equipment
- Additional physical labour as required

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- Experience operating equipment such as a tractor, loader, skid steer, telehandler;** tickets/certificates required**
- Ability to drive and maneuver a tractor with trailer through a busy construction site
- CSTS 2020 Fundamentals
- Class 5 driver’s licence (or equivalent)
- Ability to pass a fitness-to-work test
- Some knowledge or capacity to learn electrical construction & safety concerns
- A quality mindset and attention to detail are important

**Additional Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Assisting electrical, labourer, or supervisor colleagues in their tasks where required, including getting out of the equipment as needed
