Pay: Daily Salary (Paid out weekly)

Room & Board: Room & Board will be provided.

Reporting to: District Manager

As a camp superintendent you are responsible for the entire snow camp facilities and the employees therein. Your duties include but are not limited to:

- Ensuring that equipment is maintained & service is carried out as necessary.
- Ensuring that paperwork is completed properly and in accordance with Snow T.O.s procedures.
- Ensuring that all employees understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Ensure that live-in staff members are always fit for duty.
- Ensure the well being of all live-in employees.
- Ensuring that Drivers & operators are properly trained.
- You must be able to oversee the mobilization and operation of road clearing work during winter storms.
- You must know your camp’s fleet inside and out to be able to accommodate for sporadic clean up events or deficiency reconciliation.
- Prepare for incoming storms by ensuring that equipment and employees are ready, this includes live-in employees and call-in employees.
- You will be responsible for all infrastructure types present in your contract area, this includes subcontractors
- Work with subcontractors to ensure their work is completed properly in a timely manner.
- Oversee and manage GPS monitoring staff.
- Oversee and complete weekly salt calibrations.
- Keep records of all events, fuel, food and salt usage.
- You will be responsible to delegate tasks to your Camp supervisors.

Required Attributes & Skills:
This job requires you to:

- Lead large groups of employees.
- Make quick decisions under pressure.
- Be organized.
- Have an intermediate understanding of Snow Clearing work and the processes therein.

You must:

- Be competent in Microsoft office.
- Be competent in the general use of a computer.
- Be open to new ideas and processes.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 7 months

**Salary**: $1,700.00-$2,400.00 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Greater Toronto Area, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)
