**Job description: Skilled Carpenter/Framer**

We are currently seeking an experienced Carpenter/Framer to join our team that has a passion for building and expanding their knowledge in the field.

**Job Requirements**:

- Must have a minimum of 10 years experience in the construction framing industry.
- Ability to read construction blueprints.
- Knowledge of construction practices.
- Knowledge of job site safety rules and regulations
- Must be punctual, reliable and have a flexible work schedule.
- Knowledge of framing and truss assembly.
- Have access to basic tools could be an asset.
- Well organized and able to work well individually and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of engineered floors and assembly
- A company vehicle could be made available.
- Valid G license with a clean driver abstract.

**Job Duties**:

- Reading and interpreting blueprints
- Understanding customer requirements
- Managing peers (dividing job tasks, working as a team)
- Managing or working with subcontractors
- Daily communication with project coordinator & head supervisor to discuss progress of projects.
- Build from drawings to frame residential homes.
- Install windows, & doors
- Submit accurate timesheets on a weekly basis.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $95,000 annual salary

License/Certification:

- Clean G drivers license (required)
