**Job Description**:
**This exciting role will involve**:
+ Implementation of hydrogeological assessments involving drilling, well installation, permeability testing, soil and water sampling, borehole instrumentation and management of contractors.

+ Travel as required to conduct field programs and meet project needs.

+ Interpretation and reporting of groundwater flow and quality data.

+ Preparation of graphical and GIS deliverables.

+ Development of three-dimensional conceptual geologic models

**Qualifications**:
**Minimum Requirements**:
+ B.Sc. or higher degree in Earth Sciences, Geology, Hydrogeology or any related engineering discipline (Environmental, Chemical, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

+ 1-2 years of experience conducting hydrogeological and/or geochemical assessments.

+ M.Sc. or higher degree in earth sciences, geology, hydrogeology or related engineering discipline (environmental, chemical, etc.)

+ Eligible to register as a Professional Geoscientist or Engineer with EGBC.

+ A strong understanding of Microsoft Word and Excel software packages.

+ Working knowledge and experience with industry-standard software packages such as gINT, AQTESOLV, GRAPHER, AQUACHEM, EVS, FEFLOW, MODFLOW, SEEP/W, PHREEQC, GoldSim, etc. is desirable.

+ Experience with GIS and database management software is desirable

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

+ Strong decision making and communication skills.

+ Valid British Columbia driver’s license.

+ Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The salary range for this position typically is $47,714.79- $81,155.14
