Our client is seeking a Financial Analyst to join their team. The Financial Analyst will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support for the company's strategic and operational initiatives. This includes analyzing financial performance, creating financial models, and providing insights to management to aid in decision-making.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic and operational decision making.
- Analyze and interpret financial performance, identifying trends and providing insights to management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and support decision-making.
- Prepare financial reports, including budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Assist in the development of long-term financial plans and strategies.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years audit experience at a public practice firm or in a financial analyst role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
- Experience in the energy or renewable energy sector is an asset.
- Experience with budgeting and forecasting tools like SAP and Oracle an added advantage.

**Salary**: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
