Clinical Informatics Specialist

**Location**: Windsor or Chatham, ON. Hybrid option available for both remote and onsite work.

The ClS will advocate on behalf of the clinical professional in the design, development and adoption of TransForm’s Health Information System (HIS) program strategies. CI’s continuously work towards the improvement and advancements in the adoption of electronic health records throughout Erie St. Clair region.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Liaison between hospital clinicians/leaders, TransForm’s information services professionals and relevant project team members; fostering collaboration and shared direction.
- Document workflows to support project activities including mapping models, which will help, facilitate design, build & testing to achieve process improvements and gains in adoption.

**MUST- HAVES**:

- Three (3) year university degree or college diploma in healthcare related discipline (Health Information Management, Health Informatics, etc.)
- Minimum of four to six (4-6) years of hospital experience with direct patient care in a team environment
- Plus two to four (2-4) years’ experience working on clinical systems implementations or health transformation projects, preferred experience in formal clinical informatics

**WE VALUE**:

- Experience with lean methodologies/principles

**OTHER CONDITIONS**:

- Minimal exposure to disagreeable conditions typical of an office position (stress and pressure associated with multiple priorities and deadlines)
- Must be able to travel within the Southwestern Ontario area, when required
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, when required
- Must be able to work shifts Monday to Friday between 7:00am and 5:00pm
- Must be local and available to participate in the rotation of afterhours critical support tickets calls
