**Summary**

This position is a multifaceted role responsible for creating, implementing, and managing the organization's overall marketing, communications, and fund development strategy.

This includes managing the organization's brand and messaging; creating and implementing marketing and communications campaigns to raise awareness, drive engagement and fundraising; as well as creating and implementing fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission and programs.

The role also includes overseeing and managing a team of communications and marketing professionals, mentoring and developing team members, planning and executing events such as BridgeWay’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) and Gala, as well as responsibilities for internal communications to ensure the organization is informed and engaged.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing, communications, and fund development plan that aligns with the organization's mission and goals
- Manage the organization's brand and messaging, ensuring consistency across all communications and materials
- Create and implement marketing and communications campaigns to promote the organization's programs, services, events
- Oversee the organization’s annual outreach plan
- Create, execute and evaluate the organization’s content management plan
- Respond to crisis or communication issues immediately to uphold the agency’s reputation
- Implement and manage digital marketing and SEO strategy to increase online presence and drive engagement
- Utilize Google Analytics to measure and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts, and use data to inform and improve future strategies
- Create and implement fundraising strategies to support the organization's mission and programs
- Manage relationships with external partners, vendors, media contacts, and donors to expand the organization's reach and impact
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of marketing, communications, and fund development efforts, and use data to inform and improve future strategies
- Oversee and manage a team of communications and marketing professionals, including setting goals, providing feedback, and coaching/mentoring using BridgeWay’s performance management system
- Plan and execute events such as the AGM and Gala to promote the organization's mission, programs and services
- Provide guidance and advice to other departments on event planning and execution
- Use various platforms such as The BridgeWay Buzz, Teams, to keep internal stakeholders informed and engaged
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
- Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing and communications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a management role
- Strong understanding of marketing, communications, and fund development best practices and techniques
- Ability to respond to social media crisis or reputational issues
- Experience in creating and managing successful marketing, communications, and fundraising campaigns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management skills and experience managing multiple projects
- Experience managing, mentoring and developing a team
- Proficient in using google Suite, Social Media Platforms, Marketing & Communications Software, Google Analytics and SEO
- Ability to work some flexible hours
- Emergency First Aid/CPR B or C certification
- Acceptable Vulnerable Sector Check
