**Responsibilities**:
**Taxation**:

- Manage monthly HST filings and ensure timely submission.
- Prepare and file yearly personal and commercial tax returns.
- Maintain accurate accounting records, including bookkeeping, payroll processing, and financial statements.
- Provide tax planning and compliance advice to optimize tax efficiency.

**Immigration Compliance (Will be trained)**:

- Assist with LMIA (Labor Market Impact Assessment) file submissions for foreign workers.
- Provide guidance on temporary visa statuses for employees and work with external immigration consultants if necessary.
- Stay informed on immigration and taxation law changes to maintain company compliance.

**General Compliance & Coordination**:

- Act as a liaison between the company, employees, and government agencies.
- Ensure all tax and immigration-related documents are properly filed and stored.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Strong knowledge of personal and commercial taxation, HST filings, and basic accounting principles.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and bookkeeping.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work with immigration consultants and external agencies.
- Strong communication skills to interact with employees and government representatives.

**Requirements**:

- At least 2-3 years of experience in taxation roles.
- Basic Knowledge of Canadian immigration services or willingness to undergo training.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tax filing platforms.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing regulations.

Pay: $70,078.62-$80,232.32 per year
