Edmonton, Canada Widynowski's Sausage House Full time

Widynowski's Sausage House specializes in Ukrainian sausage and foods with most of our products made in-house. We also do wild game processing and fundraising. We are currently seeking one full-time or part-time person to join our team as a retail salesperson and assist with order fulfillment.

You'll be joining a team environment that offers a varied workday and responsibilities. Most responsibilities and tasks are customer facing and require a personable and customer service oriented person.

Our company has been family owned and operated for 38 years and we are looking forward to welcoming you into our family

**Responsibilities and Duties**

Retail Salesperson
- _Serve walk-in customers at our storefront using our iPad based POS_
- _Perform store opening and closing_

Order Fulfillment
- _Process orders from order-point to packaging to invoicing_

Reception and customer service
- _Answer phone calls and deal with customer inquiries_

Food handling and packaging
- _Package fresh and frozen foods_
- _Use manual and electrical food equipment to slice, trim, and prepare food_

General cleaning and up-keep of store

Various other duties

**Qualifications and Skills**

Skills & Abilities
- High school diploma or GED is preferred
- Possess strong customer service qualities
- Works in a safe and responsible manner
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in both oral and written form
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
- Attention to detail

Physical Requirements
- Frequently lift 30-50 pounds
- Stand and walk for extended periods
- Manual and repetitive tasks
- Frequent bending and twisting

Hours:
Tuesday-Saturday, 9:00am to 5:30pm (40 hours / week).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $17.00 per hour

Day range:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Shift:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
