**About the Role**

Reporting to the on site Security Supervisor,The Security Guard will be responsible for conducting day-to-day security operations of the facility. This includes but is not limited to CCTV and Access Control monitoring, interior and exterior patrols, managing gate access and all other duties as directed by the security supervisor.

**Roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to**:
The primary Security Guard duties at SNDL facilities will encompass the prevention of all types of crime and prevent unauthorized entry onto the property. Security will also provide assistance to staff members as required. The security team will also be an integral component in all emergency response plans.
- Perform regular patrols of all areas of the facility.
- Make note of any suspicious activity or unsafe conditions throughout the facility.
- Prepare incident reports for all criminal or dangerous activity.
- Responsible for visitor and contractor management on site.
- Responsible for monitoring CCTV and access control.
- Monitor, investigate and respond to alarms on site.
- All other duties as delegated from the Security Supervisor

**Work Experience**
- Minimum, 1-3 years Security experience
- Comfortable with working independently
- Previous experience working in a Cannabis Facility considered an asset

**Education**
- Must have current, valid Alberta Security License
- Valid First Aid Level C
- Knowledge of WHMIS

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Olds, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
