Burlington, Canada Select Fire Protection Full time

We are looking for a full-time Fire Alarm Technician for our small but growing company. Servicing the Halton, Hamilton and Niagara Regions. You must have your CFAA (Canadian Fire Alarm Association) certificate.

- full-time weekdays
- occasional evenings or weekends for emergency service (less than 5% of your schedule)
- work vehicle provided
- Responsibilities_
- Inspect and test fire alarm systems and other fire protection equipment
- Service, repair, and install various types of fire equipment
- Complete reports and documentation
- Communicate with our clients about the work being performed
- Maintain vehicle and tools provided to ensure performance
- Manage inventory of service vehicle
- Keep up-to-date with your training and industry knowledge
- Qualifications_
- CFAA registration as a Fire Alarm Technician or trainee
- 3-5 years experience in the fire protection industry
- Certified by Mircom, Honeywell, or Maple Armor.
- Good oral and written communications skills
- Valid Ontario driver's license

Other Skills
- Experience with hand tools
- Experience testing sprinkler systems is an asset
- Attention to detail
- Problem Solving

The fire protection industry is a constantly evolving one that requires ongoing learning and training to stay up-to-date with current Standards, Codes, and practices. We support our employees with access to NFPA online and in-class training, as well as CFAA training support to those who qualify.

**Salary**: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
