**POSITION**: **Wastewater Treatment Services Student (Competition #2023-12)**

**LOCATION**: Ingersoll or Woodstock

**EMPLOYMENT STATUS**: Contract Full-Time

**REPORTING TO**: Wastewater Foreperson

**UNION AFFILIATION**: CUPE

**WAGE RATE**: $18.00/hr

**Hours of Work**: Monday-Friday, 7:00a.m. - 3:30p.m. (40hrs/week)

Student employment commences in May 2023 and ends at the beginning of September 2023.

***:
Traveling throughout the County. Assisting with Wastewater Treatment operations, sample collection and laboratory testing. Performing maintenance duties such as hosing of tanks/weirs, pipe painting and aiding plant Maintenance staff. Working indoors and outdoors required.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- G2 or G driver’s licence (an acceptable driving record will be required)
- Wastewater Treatment Operator in Training licence would be an asset.
- To be considered for a student position, you must currently be enrolled on a full-time basis at a post-secondary institution, and be returning to a post-secondary institution on a full-time basis in the Fall of 2023.
- You are fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- You are currently enrolled on a full-time basis at a post-secondary institution, and will be returning to a post-secondary institution on a full-time basis in the Fall of 2023.
- Your driving record from last year is still acceptable (if applicable)
