Swimming Instructor

Lifestyle Swim Lessons is a private swimming lesson company that offers both private and small group lessons in both public and private pool setting. Our clientele are families that value private coaching tailored to their children's individual needs. We specialize in beginner swim development, and swim to survive skills. We are looking to expand and hire two new team members with ample experience and a love for the water and coaching.

**Job description**

Lifestyle Swim Lesson's objective is to provide high quality private swim lessons to children of all ages. One-on-one coaching allows for quick feedback, more practice, and keen attention on the participant. It is the instructor's responsibility to provide a lesson that is both well planned, yet flexible to each swimmers individual needs. Training on the style of lessons we offer will be provided and must be followed to achieve the best results.

**Requirements**:

- Red Cross Water Safety Instructor certification or Lifesaving Instructor certification or Speed Swimming coaching experience.
- Must be at 18 years of age with means of transportation.
- Three years experience instructing is preferred.
- Ability to evaluate and adjust lesson plans to meet the participant needs.
- A professional countenance and ability to communicate successes and challenges to parents, as well as answer any questions they may have.
- Ability to adapt quickly and make necessary changes to lessons as need be.

Hours:
4-12 hours a week of mixed day time, evenings, and weekends.

Requires Security Check:
Acceptable current Criminal Record Check (CRC) and Vulnerable Sector Search (VSS) upon offer of employment.

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 8-15 per week

**Salary**: $22.00-$24.00 per hour

COVID-19 protocol is individual to each pool site and may differ from location to location. Masks are not to be worn in the water.
