**POSITION OVERVIEW**

The Game Tech plays a crucial role in ensuring the optimal functioning and maintenance of arcade games and interactive entertainment systems. With a focus on technical proficiency and attention to detail, the Game Tech ensures that guests have an enjoyable and seamless gaming experience. This role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, the ability to work with basic tools, and a willingness to troubleshoot and problem-solve technical issues. Collaborating closely with management to prioritize tasks, maintain game parts inventory, and uphold safety standards within the arcade environment.

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**
- Proficiency in computer hardware and software systems
- High attention to detail and ability to use basic tools for assembling and maintaining hardware
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Comfortable working with hands-on tasks and unafraid to get involved in maintenance duties
- Fast learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to communicate solutions and preventive measures effectively
- Dependable team player with the ability to be on call as needed
- Previous experience with arcades, video gaming, or interactive entertainment is an asset
- Ability to solder is considered advantageous

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Ensure all arcade games are operating optimally, maintained, and kept clean
- Replace damaged or broken parts and manage hardware inventory for games
- Conduct thorough cleaning of games both internally and externally using appropriate techniques
- Cultivate relationships with external stakeholders to maintain connections with game systems and kiosks
- Maintain a detailed communication log for completed work and any issues encountered
- Keep technical documentation up to date and organized as necessary
- Communicate with management regarding game usage and issues to ensure smooth operation during events and peak times
- Prioritize the needs of both management/staff and guests/customers, especially in high-pressure environments
- On call as required
- Collaborate with management to arrange and move games as needed to optimize the arcade layout
- Provide a safe and friendly environment for all patrons
- Other duties as assigned

**COMPENSATION**
- Hourly wage ranges from $25 to $40, commensurate with experience and qualifications

**Salary**: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
