As a Labourer II, you will perform a variety of semi-skilled manual tasks, calling upon your acquired skills and familiarity with hand tools, power tools, motor vehicles, and other equipment. Although guidance is provided, there is room for independence and initiative as you grow more accustomed to the duties. Our experienced journeyman will monitor your performance to ensure you are aligned with ATCO’s specifications and best practices, with a strong emphasis on safety.

**What You Get To Do**:
Under the general supervision of the Journeyman, responsibilities include:
- Assembly of electrical junction boxes and switches, involving hole punching, mounting, and installation.
- Assisting the Journeyman with basic technical tasks, such as pulling wire and cables.
- Constructing frames to mount equipment.
- Installing safety equipment and signage, and securing equipment into control buildings for shipping.
- Preparing equipment and panels for shipment, including wrapping and labelling.
- Verifying delivered material quantities against delivery slips.
- Undertaking other general duties as required.
- In all tasks, you will uphold our commitment to health, safety, and environmental principles, in accordance with corporate policies, practices and procedures, and government legislation._
**Qualifications**:
- Completion of Grade 12 or G.E.D. Equivalent.
- Valid First Aid Certification with CPR qualification would be an asset.
- 2-3 year of related technical experience in a safety sensitive environment.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Valid vehicle operator’s license.
- May require lifting and carrying.
- May require work outside.
