**Overview**
Ontario Family Group Homes (OFGH) is a provider of specialized residential care to a group of diverse youth and adults within the developmental services sector. Our programs strike a balance between fostering a sense of community while honouring individuality, providing a safe and supportive environment for personal growth and development.

**About the Role**
The **Team Leader** will play a crucial role in leading and supervising our dedicated staff, ensuring the safety, security, and well-being of our clients. This position involves hands-on involvement with programming, direct care of clients, and collaboration with the Program Director to maintain a high standard of service delivery.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Providing leadership, coaching and direction to staff to ensure client care is being carried out according to established plans and company standards
- Provide oversight and structure to the daily operations within the residence.
- Ensure that internal protocols and relevant legislation are consistently followed
- Understanding, implementing, and following treatment plans and daily schedules
- Ensuring the safety of all clients in the residence, which includes crisis management and physical containments
- Providing a safe and clean environment; upkeep of the home is part of the daily responsibility
- Providing care to all residents which includes personal care, medication administration, liaising with family, medical and other professionals and other service providers to address the needs of the residents.
- Transporting residents to community functions or appointments using the company supplied vehicle
- Accurate daily documentation, record keeping, and report writing
- On call responsibilities

**Qualifications**
- Completion of a 2-year program at an Ontario recognized college/university program - DSW, CYC, or SSW
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar environment
- Full Class G drivers license and insurance
- Current UMAB training is also considered an asset
- Sound crisis management skills
- Ability to use discretion and good judgement in a fast-paced residential treatment setting
- Applicants must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19
- Applicants must be physically able to carry out physical interventions/containments when required

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $27.00 per hour
