Overview:
As a Lead Brewer you will be responsible for supervising and executing all aspects of beer production, recipe development, brewing standards, specifications, and processes at MISKI BREWING COMPANY CORP. You will also be responsible for pasteurization, filtering and packaging of beer and other similar products. You will be reporting directly to senior management.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supervise production operations.
- Supervise brewhouse and warehouse operations and employees; ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Lead, monitor and execute the brewing process on our brewhouse in a safe and efficient manner. This includes, but it is not limited to, grain preparation and milling, mashing, lautering, wort production and boiling, cooling, transferring to fermenters, packaging, etc.
- Train and supervise brewers and assistant brewers.
- Review SOPs as needed.
- Ensure proper execution of CIPs.
- Communicate with management about any inventory concerns.
- Maintain equipment, draft system, and troubleshoot any problems.
- Work closely with and report directly to management.
- Good understanding of quality assurance / quality control and problem-solving skills and to troubleshoot any beer related issues.
- Handle, execute and supervise yeast propagation and storage by following proper harvesting, pitching, and disposal procedures.
- Supervise and execute all cellaring, brewing and packaging duties.
- Maintain QC
- Communicate effectively with staff, owners and customers.
- Work independently and lead the production team.
- Maintain beer production records.
- Keep brewhouse, warehouse, laboratory and walking cooler clean and organized.
- Supervise and execute shipping, receiving, boxing, and labelling of ingredients and/or products when necessary.
- Assist with purchasing when needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Salary**: $22.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
