Tow Truck Operator

Responsibilities:

- Respond to service calls for disabled vehicles and provide roadside assistance
- Safely operate a tow truck to transport vehicles to designated locations
- Secure vehicles properly using appropriate towing equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with vehicle-related issues and answering their questions
- Maintain accurate records of service calls, including time, location, and services provided
- Perform basic mechanical tasks such as changing tires, jump-starting batteries, and unlocking vehicles
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the tow truck

Qualifications:

- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving and operating tow trucks
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to perform basic automotive repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional in stressful situations
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in emergency situations

- On call
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
