Responsibilities:

- Install, maintain, and repair alarm systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Program and test alarm systems to ensure proper functionality
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarm systems, including wiring, sensors, and control panels
- Provide technical support to customers regarding alarm system operation and maintenance
- Collaborate with team members to complete installations and service calls in a timely manner
- Document all work performed, including parts used and services provided

**Experience**:

- Previous experience as an Alarm Technician or in a similar role is preferred
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and interpretation
- Proficiency in using hand tools and electrical testing equipment
- Understanding of electrical principles and wiring techniques
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
- Mechanical knowledge for installing alarm system components
- Experience with IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) is a plus
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers through excellent communication skills
