**Description**

Our Client is seeking a Junior Procurement Specialist to support a team of Purchasing Officers, administering contract awards to file closeout stages.

**Experience Required/Mandatory Skills**
- The proposed resource must have demonstrated public sector procurement experience; or a combination of private sector procurement and public sector administration experience (2+ years)
- The proposed resource must have demonstrated experience independently performing related tasks, such as preparing documents, completing forms, updating records, and/or checking quality assurance (2+ years)
- The proposed resource must have demonstrated experience administering private or public sector procurement projects in an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system (2+ years)

**Nice To Have Skills**
- The proposed resource should have demonstrated experience balancing multiple projects at the same time (1+ year)
- The proposed resource should have exceptional communicator and attention to detail (1+ year)
- The proposed resource should have the capacity to navigate and learn to master new technological platforms (1+ year)
- The proposed resource should have a proven record of independent problem-solving (1+ year)

**Location**
- Edmonton/On-Site

**Work Environment**
- 7 months with 1 possible 1-month extension

**Hourly Rate**
- Negotiable
