The WorkPlace Group on behalf of Forest Auto Wreckers Ltd is recruiting for Auto Recycling Dismantlers

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Sorting of core items, sale items and inventory parts (including but not limited to car parts, tires, rims, bumpers, lights, etc.)
- Operates in accordance with Health and Safety Policies
- Attention to detail is required to ensure accurate disassembly of parts
- Correctly distribute parts to their locations and mark it for properly for pickup or delivery
- Responsible for clearly identifying and labeling dismantled parts
- Maintain a clean work area as this is a requirement for safety from the city and auto wrecking association
- Comfortable using text messages or WhatsApp messaging as most of the inquiries for parts comes via social media
- Be good and courteous to all customers coming to the yard and provide a safe environment for them
- Ability to lift heavy objects (necessary tools will be provided if requested and needed for the job)

**Qualifications**:

- Forklift experience is preferred
- Forklift certification is preferred but not mandatory
- Mechanically inclined
- Experience with heavy mechanical vehicles
- Ability to manage, organize and prioritize work
- Enjoy working independently and as part of a team
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working with metal scrap

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

- Lambton Shores, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
