**Badminton Coach Needed**

Short Term Contract

The Bishop Strachan School was founded in 1867 with the goal of providing innovative and rigorous education for girls, reflecting ethical, social, and moral values. At BSS, athletics is a vital part of the student experience. It is a chance for girls to develop new skills, self-esteem, sportsmanship, leadership and grit. Our experienced coaches work alongside our teachers, allowings for high-level competition in a safe environment. Our coaches possess a deep understanding of our students’ physical abilities and social-emotional needs, helping enhance their athletic performance.They also make practices and games fun and memorable for all.

**Badminton Coach**:
We are seeking an exceptional and committed Badminton Coach to support our Senior School badminton team.

The Badminton Coach will run tryouts, select the teams and coach two practices per week, plus games, including some travel to and from schools in the GTA. The practice times will vary before or after school, pending gym availability. The teams will participate in around four to six games and will need to qualify for the final championship tournament.

Dates:
November 14, 2023 - February 28, 2024 (no practices over the winter break)
