**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Ensure all food safety and sanitation guidelines are followed.
- Assist in meal preparation and presentation for various dining services.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Help train new kitchen staff on food handling and preparation techniques.
- Participate in menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients.

**Skills**
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Proficient in food preparation techniques within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Experience in meal preparation, including cooking various cuisines.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members.
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and tools used in food handling.
- A positive attitude with a willingness to help others in the kitchen.
