**Type of position**: Trainee

An overview of your future role at BBA

Perform the entire cycle of an automation engineering project

Prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables (piping and instrumentation diagrams, layout drawings, I/O loop and motor control diagrams, lists of cables and instruments, installation details)
Program PLCs
Draft reports, plans and specifications, construction and purchasing estimates and calls for tenders, where required
Prepare technical data sheets and select instruments (flow, pressure, level) and control valves
Provide technical assistance during construction work (electrical and instrumentation)
Perform inspections or technical surveys
Participate in equipment commissioning and performance testing at client sites

Overview of certifications and job requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Automated Production or Electrical Engineering in progress
Interest or relevant experience in automation or instrumentation, including participation in the detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectors

**Asset**: bilingual (English and French)
Available for short-term work assignments at client locations or sites
