Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Shop Supervisor to join our team. As the Shop Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our shop and ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This is a leadership role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to manage a team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Leadership: Providing strong leadership, motivation, and direction to the team of technicians, be the foundation of a positive work environment, and promote teamwork, lead by example and be available at all times for the techs to talk to about jobs. Be onsite as much as possible and use other class 1 drivers to deliver units when possible. Adhere to facility chain of command as outlined on back of this page.
- Assign Work: work with the service writers in organizing and prioritizing jobs. Distribute repair tasks among technicians based on their skill levels, workload, and priorities. Work with techs to upsell additional work found on the units being worked on.
- Supervising Technicians: The foreman is responsible for overseeing the work of technicians, ensuring they adhere to safety protocols, workmanship expectations, and deadlines. This is mainly done by performing regular (at least every hour) facility walk arounds and “check ins”.
- Communication: Effectively communicating with management, service writers, parts department, and technicians, to coordinate activities, share information, and address concerns, update progress, inform of challenges, and present solutions. Special consideration of the communication with the service Writer should be acknowledged, any updates on a unit (ie. Finished, more work needed, work is going to go beyond the estimate, parts needing to be replaced, etc.) have to be immediately relayed to the service writer so that they can let the customer know. Review repair orders with customer as needed.
- Administrative and Clerical: repair quotes should be created by the Foreman or service manager and reviewed visa versa, afterward the estimate is sent to the parts department to have parts added and reviewed, and finally the foreman/service manager are responsible to send the estimate to the customer via the “send to customer button” and work should stop until approved.
- Quality Control: Conducting regular inspections and quality checks to ensure that repairs meet the required standards and specifications. This includes performing Quality control checks on the completed repairs of every repair order.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensuring that all repairs and maintenance activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Problem-Solving: Resolving technical issues, troubleshooting problems, and finding solutions to challenges that arise during repairs.
- Training and Development: Providing guidance, training, and mentoring to technicians to improve their skills, efficiency, and productivity.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
