Janitorial Staff

**Job Title: Maintenance and Janitorial Staff at Kanata Ford Sales**

**Responsibilities**:

- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, dust furniture, and clean windows to ensure that the dealership is neat and tidy
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and kitchen areas regularly
- Ensure that all trash cans and waste bins are emptied and disposed of appropriately
- Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, and fixing leaks
- Perform minor repairs, such as repairing doors and windows, and painting walls
- Keep inventory of cleaning and maintenance supplies.
- Follow established safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment for all employees and customers
- Respond to emergency cleaning and maintenance requests as needed
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor at all times when dealing with customers and staff
- Other duties as assigned by management.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience in janitorial or maintenance work preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage, and disposal methods
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks, including lifting and moving heavy objects.

**Working Conditions**:
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 9 months

**Salary**: $16.50-$18.00 per hour

**Experience**:

- Cleaning: 2 years (preferred)
