The Peat Harvest Equipment Operator is a full-time seasonal position located in Seba Beach.

**Qualifications**:

- Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience Required: Two years of experience operating a tractor and performing minor maintenance
- Ability to work as a part of a small team in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision
- Mechanical aptitude
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Operate heavy machinery such as a tractor with a vacuum harvester or harrows
- Ensure that machinery, equipment and tools are operational by performing routine and preventative maintenance (i.e. greasing tractor) and cleaning the machinery and equipment.
- Willingness to train and perform duties in the plant when bog operations are suspended due to weather conditions. This includes:

- Maintaining facilities including sweeping and shoveling peat moss off plant floor and lawn care - mowing and trimming grass
- Assisting in tarping peat piles
- Working on additive line to prepare and package including handling bags of raw materials (fertilizer, perlite, lime)

**Terms of Employment**:

- Seasonal (May 8 - September 15th, 2023)
- Full-Time - 7-12 hours/day
- 40-70 Hours/week
- Early Mornings/Morning/Day/Evenings/Weekend shifts
