**Position: EMR -Business Analyst - Senior (2 Open Positions)**

**Location: Toronto, Ontario (Onsite)**

**Duration: Long Term Contract**

**Must haves**:

- Electronic medical record experience
- Preferably experience working for the Public Sector in particular corrections
- Preferred experience in health care

**Experience and Skill Set Requirements**
- Experience with implementing Electronic Medical Records (EMR) solutions
- Experience working in a correctional setting/environment
- Experience with Corporate Architecture Review Board gating process
- Delivering on Corporate Architecture Review Board conceptual business architecture documents such as
- Information Architecture Document
- Business Architecture Document
- Systems Requirement Document
- Systems Architecture Document

**Delivering on detailed requirements for the solution**
- functional and non-functional requirements
- system use cases
- data models
- data dictionary
- reporting requirements
- Executive/Director/Team level presentations
- Feasibility assessments
- Assist with RFI/RFB requirements
- Assist in RFB competitive evaluation
- Assist with test strategies, plans and cases
- Assist with planning and execution of UAT
- Status reports

**Leadership**
- Demonstrated skills in leading teams of business analysts and organizational change practitioners
- High level competency in stakeholder management & communication, project status reporting, workshop facilitation, meeting management, and conflict resolution

**Strategy Analysis & Development**
- High level competency in discovery or imagining of possible solutions that will enable the enterprise to create greater value for stakeholders, and/or capture more value for itself

**Requirements Analysis & Design**
- Experience eliciting, documenting, tracing, validating and prioritizing requirements in a correctional health care setting
- Experience facilitating requirements workshops, UI experience design session, and works with an agile mindset
- Data Management & Business Intelligence & Analytics
- Demonstrated experience using data management principles
- Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing data lifecycle management (Plan, & Design; Use & Enhance; Enable & Maintain)

**Business Analysis & Planning**
- High level competency in Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring, Elicitation & Collaboration, Requirements Lifecycle Management, Strategy Analysis, Requirements Analysis & Design Definition, and Solution Evaluation in a correctional health care setting
- High level competency defining business analysis approach, planning stakeholder engagement, governance and performance improvements. Demonstrated experience analyzing current state, defining future state, assessing risks, defining change strategy in a correctional health care setting
- High level competency in stakeholder management & communication, project status reporting, workshop facilitation, meeting management, and conflict resolution

**Business Process & Data Modelling**
- High level competency in developing Process Analysis and Discovery, Process Modeling, Process Automation or Implementation, Process Performance Assessment, and Process Improvement. (Value Chain, Value Stream, UML - Use Case, BPMN 2.0, - Context Diagrams, collaboration diagraming)
- High level competency & experience in data modeling, query logic, and data storage

**Software Development**
- Demonstrated experience in supporting quality assurance testing, as well as managing and developing user acceptance testing strategies and plans.
- Demonstrated experience authoring and managing requirements analysis & design definition and
- Solution Evaluation.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and evaluating RFBs and RFIs

**Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery**
- Demonstrated experience conducting business impact assessment, defining recovery time objectives and business continuity planning including preparation of data for roll out of a new system

**Security Risk Management**
- Competency in contributing to security risk and threat risk assessment.

**Evaluation Criteria**:
**Business analysis experience 45%**
- Hands on/working 10+ years’ experience in business analysis for large scale implementations
- Experience working in a correctional setting
- Experience working in a health care provision setting
- Demonstrated experience in creating Business Cases, Business Requirements Document, other Business architecture artefacts, Enterprise architecture artefacts and assist Solution designer/architect in the preparation of technical artefacts
- Demonstrated experience working on large systems implementation

**Technical experience 35%**
- Proven ability to support the client in development of check point artefacts, gating material and Enterprise Architecture artefacts
- Experience with data
