**Job description**
- **Preferred Protection & Response Services Ltd.**_is currently seeking to hire a licensed Manitoba security guard to fill part time/full time Security guard positions.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- A valid Manitoba Security License **is required.**:

- A valid CPR/ First aid certificate **is required.**:

- A valid Manitoba Drivers license **is required.**:

- Smart Serve certificate **is preferred.**:

- Must be fluent in English both verbally and in writing
- **Minimum 1 year** working experience in the security field.
- Strong sense of self

- Ability to work with mínimal supervision

**Security Guard Responsibilities**:

- Observe and Report any/all suspicious activities and incidents at respective sites.
- Must be comfortable enforcing client and company policies
- Communicate with Supervisors, when required.
- Remove unwanted persons from the property, when required.
- Respond to emergency situations as required.
- Providing our clients with exceptional customer service while remaining focused on the assets of the property, and surrounding properties at all times.
- Confident in using communication equipment 2-way radio.
- Standing and walking, which would be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
- Ability to approach difficult situations and resolve in a timely manner.
- Ability to work well with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to problem solve effectively on their own.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $15.30 per hour
