**Job Summary**

We specialize in LTL, FTL, Flat deck and Container transport. We are a authorized carrier with Port Metro Vancouver, Canada Customs Bonded carrier and operate out of a 175,000 sq. ft CBSA Sufferance Bonded warehouse.

We currently have an opening for a logistics coordinator. The logistic coordinator is to provide administrative support in warehouse & transportation operations. Verify and keep records on Inbound and Outbound shipment and provide customers with frequent updates.

**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Obtain quotes from various carriers and evaluate pricing/quotes.
- Negotiate pricing with carriers and in addition source for new potential carriers.
- Work with internal software to update shipment details.
- Work with transport driver to ensure time and trips are being used efficiently.
- Establish relationships with 3PL partners and evaluates alternatives to minimize distribution costs.
- Prepare client's accurate and timely billing.
- Tracing and tracking of shipments to final destination.

**Qualifications and Skills**
- Minimum 1-year work experience in transportation or logistics.
- Strong communication skills.
- Advanced knowledge of computer literacy, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual.
- A team player but also capable of working independently.
- Fluent English.

- Monitor and track shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any issues or delays.
- Analyze data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Source and procure materials and services needed for logistics operations.
- Oversee picking, packing, and shipping activities to ensure accuracy and quality control.
- Manage inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing excess stock.
- Implement category management strategies to optimize procurement processes.
- Handle materials handling and materials management tasks as needed.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in logistics coordination or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of NVOCC (Non-Vessel Operating Common Carrier) operations is a plus.
- Strong data analysis skills to analyze logistics data and identify trends or areas for improvement.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and inventory management systems.
- Ability to source suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage vendor relationships.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in logistics processes.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and carriers.
