Brampton, Canada AFIMAC Canada Full time

AFIMAC Canada is actively hiring AZ Shunters/Receivers for upcoming work in Southwestern Ontario. This position will require you to work 12 hour shifts involving 60-84 hours per week.

**You will earn**:

- $50 per hour before overtime
- Contract duration 1-120 days
- Hotel accommodation provided (when required)
- $30 diem (when lodging required)
- travel up to 4 hours (when lodging required)

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**:

- Must possess a Class AZ drivers license.
- Clean driving abstract
- Minimum 1 year experience as an AZ driver/shunter.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (preferred)
- Ability to work 12 hour shifts (60-84 hours per week)
- Follow safety protocols and procedures.
- Responsible for receiving, weighing, unloading, cleaning and parking trailers.
- Ability to lift up to 50-lbs and walk up and down stairs
- Physically capable of handling 200 kg drums (consecutive multi-drum workload)
- Required to maintain a clean and orderly work area
- Good organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work in an animal bi-product environment
- High School graduate or GED equivalency.
- The position requires a self-starter and highly motivated person capable of working with mínimal supervision.

- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- **Please keep in mind that this is temporary contract positions involving 60-84 hours of work per week when deployed to a project. There will be 2-3 weeks of paid training (40 hours/week) with no guarantee of work beyond that, so it may not be suitable for someone who is currently working full-time, in school or looking for guaranteed steady work.**_
