**Research Assistant, College of Nursing**:
The College of Nursing is a leader in the delivery of advanced practice nursing programs and related research. This position will support faculty in the development of knowledge addressing research gaps around the practices of nurse practitioners.
**Primary Purpose**: The position includes supporting the research team to meet deadlines in the development of knowledge related to nurse practitioner practice and align the elements of the project to meet these deadlines.
**Typical Duties or Accountabilities: Duties include the ability to** complete ethics submission forms, grant submissions, organizing meetings, take meeting minutes, drafting reports/journal articles. There is a need to meet weekly and to ensure project deadlines are met.
**Education**:Minimum level of education is the completion of an undergraduate degree.
**Experience**: A minimum of 3 years of recent/current experience as a research assistant supporting nursing research.
**Skills**: Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills, experience searching nursing literature databases, and knowledge and experience with Microsoft office and literature search software.
**Department**: College of Nursing
