**Job description**

Flowlink Environmental is offering an immediate opportunity for a Warehouse & Assembly Technician. Reporting to the Operations Manager, Warehouse & Assembly Technician will work collaboratively with Field Operations and Purchasing staff in ordering, receiving, maintaining and managing our inventory of parts, equipment and supplies. This role will largely involve the equipment assembly and repair requiring an individual who enjoys and is comfortable working with their hands.

The role may also include occasional travel to project sites to assist with the installations and pick-up of parts and supplies.

Training will be provided on the job. You will be expected to work independently, with support from the team.

**Specific job duties include but are not limited to**:

- Managing inventory of critical spare parts, fittings, and consumables following company’s tracking tools and processes
- Responsible for inspecting, testing and documenting the test results for new parts and components returned from the field
- Maintaining History Logs for critical parts, as required by company’s SOPs
- Light manufacturing and assembly following the company’s templates, drawings and SOPs
- Equipment repair
- Housekeeping duties to maintain the warehouse in a clean, tidy and safe condition
- Adherence to the Health and Safety program, Standard Operating Procedures, team communication processes, basic administrative works, and related support
- Ensuring the security of the warehouse and other storage locations
- Delivery and assistance in installation/demobilization of the company’s equipment on client’s sites
- Pick-up of parts and supplies
- You are self-driven, efficient, resourceful, and honest.
- You are mechanically inclined and experienced with hand and power tools.
- You are skilled or interested in learning to weld and wire basic electronics.
- You are able to lift and move heavy objects.
- You are committed to quality in everything you do.
- You are comfortable with spreadsheets and technology.
- You are willing to work evenings and/or weekends when requested.

**Qualifications**

This role is considered a junior position within the organization, and comprehensive training will be provided; however, the minimum qualifications are:

- Post-secondary graduate: diploma, certificate, or B.Sc. is an asset
- Solid computer-based skills;
- A professional attitude in written and oral communications;
- A valid Class 5 driver’s license with a good driving record, including own vehicle;
- Eligibility for professional certification is an asset.
- WHIMIS and First Aid training is an asset.
