Supports the monthly Business Unit (s) close and reporting process by analyzing and providing variance commentary against Plan, Last Year, Forecast, ensuring accuracy in financials.

Supports the monthly Business Units (s) forecast and reporting process by providing financial projections for Merch P&L metrics by Dept, Business Unit and Channel as required by analyzing historical performance trends, collaborating with key stakeholders, and incorporating new legislative and/or economic impacts.

Supports Annual Operating Plan for Merch P&L metrics by collaborating with stakeholders, incorporating impacts of regulatory and contractual obligations, expected changes to market share, product offerings, real estate + project impacts ensuring alignment to corporate targets. Dept/Business Unit/Channel targets are used to evaluate employees on the Corporate Incentive Plan.

Provide financial analysis, recommendations to support Merchants + Business Unit Leaders insight into financial results. Communication with Merchandising teams will be necessary to educate/inform on a timely basis to influence results and help teams achieve business targets. Work will also involve providing financial support to key Finance teams including (but not limited to) eCom Finance, Controllership, Real Estate, Cost Diligence periodically throughout the year.

Develops, enhances, or supports implementation of financial processes that improve operational performance and/or creates efficiencies in the business. ‎
