**Your Opportunity**:
North Zone Addiction and Mental Health has an exciting new opportunity. We are hiring a new Clinical Projects Lead to support clinical and planning projects within the Zone. This position will lead or support planning for new service initiatives and implementation of local or zone wide initiatives. The Clinical Projects Lead will work closely with North Zone Addiction and Mental Health Leadership on a wide array of clinical projects that can range from quality improvement to strategic planning or implementation of new grant funded initiatives. This position offers the opportunity to be involved in a wide array of initiatives across the continuum of addiction and mental health services and improve the care we offer to residents of Northern Alberta. This position can be located anywhere within the North Zone and will require travel within the zone.

**Required Qualifications**:
A Master’s degree in Health, Business, Leadership, Policy or Social Sciences. Equivalent education or experience may be considered.

**Additional Required Qualifications**:
A minimum of five years’ experience in leadership/management in a complex health care setting or an organization of significant size. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development. Specialized expertise in planning methodologies, including quality improvement, project management and change management. Coordination experience in project planning, execution, reporting, monitoring and evaluation. Experience managing human resources and related financial information. Significant experience in problem solving, risk mitigation, concerns resolution, conflict resolution and negotiation. Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with leading a team, making decisions, coaching and teaching, and inspiring and building confidence in others. Demonstrated ability to engage and foster relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Effective communicator with strong organizational skills, influencing skills, interpersonal skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services. Ability to develop, facilitate and deliver education to transfer knowledge. Experience in facilitating research, reviews and analysis, evaluations, and formal report development. Demonstrated ability to facilitate significant change. Strong strategic and systems thinking.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
Certification/education in: Health systems leadership. Quality improvement. Change management. Project management. Registration with the appropriate regulatory college. Knowledge of the continuum of mental health, addiction, and concurrent disorders treatment and best practices related to same. Front line work experience is an asset. Thorough knowledge of pertinent legislation and regulations.
