We are looking for a highly motivated, self-directed **Procurement Specialist **to perform a critical role in developing our overall supply chain. **What you’ll do - Essential Responsibilities**:

- Develop a procurement strategy for each material considering the marketplace and the needs of the requisitioners and end-users. Manage vendors, plan strategically and provide input for SAP master data maintenance for materials such as lead times, lot sizing, pricing, etc. Support and provide input to component forecasts based on historical data, sales input and material planning strategy.
- Develop and negotiate Master Service Agreements (MSA’s), Long Term agreements (LTA’s) and Contracts with supply partners for current as well as new materials, capital equipment, and services.
- Manage Vendor Evaluation Program with suppliers. Work with vendors to mange working capital terms, stocking agreements, quality issues and delivery performance and to negotiate inflation/ deflation.
- Work also with suppliers to ensure sustainability and trade control requirements are always met.
- Issue purchase orders, confirm acknowledged dates and maintain open purchase orders ensuring accurate delivery dates and quantities at all times, while maintaining optimum inventory levels.
- Work with operations and design to qualify new materials, as well as identify and develop new vendors to deliver productivity savings to the organization. Make recommendations for productivity and/or process improvements.
- Provide guidance and support to global inventory management initiatives and supporting the MPS in executing the inventory management plan.
- Work with corporate procurement network commodity experts, regional procurement specialist globally to develop and qualify the best cost strategy for every material in your portfolio. Support/ collaborate with other OpCos and regions for development and management of common suppliers.

**Basic Requirements**:

- Minimum 4 years’ experience in purchasing, inventory analysis, or materials management
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or Computer Science or equivalent experience. Operations or supply management or related field preferred.
- Completed or current enrollment in CAPICS or PMAC program.
- Demonstrated teamwork, productivity, accuracy, dedication, and professionalism.
- Must be fluent in Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, Outlook, etc. and have strong computer/technical skills.
- Experienced in working with SAP or other integrated MRP environment.
