Crane Operator

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment according to project specifications.
- Ensure all lifts are performed safely and efficiently, adhering to established safety guidelines and procedures.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on cranes and related equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other personnel to coordinate lifts and ensure smooth operations.

**Requirements**:

- Valid crane operator certification/license required.
- Valid CSTS 2020, Fall Arrest, Arial Work Platform tickets.
- Strong understanding of crane operations, rigging techniques, and load capacities.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Physical strength and stamina to perform duties associated with crane operation.

**Details**:

- Typical week is 40-50 hours. 10-hour shifts Monday - Friday.
- Shifts may vary based on workload requirements.
- All work is completed in our industrial module yard in Ponoka, Alberta. No need to travel.
- OT eligibility.

Pay: $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
