Nursing Director of Care

**Job Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required, Master's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in a management position within the nursing field.
- Preferably, prior leadership experience in long-term care settings.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French.
- Previous experience in teaching within the healthcare field.
- Proficiency in staff scheduling and management.
- Salary to be discussed based on qualifications and experience.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the daily operations of our healthcare facility, ensuring compliance with regulations and standards.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, fostering a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to optimize patient care outcomes.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
- Conduct staff evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
- Manage staff schedules efficiently to ensure adequate coverage and optimal patient care.
- Serve as a liaison between healthcare providers, patients, and families, addressing any concerns or issues.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55.00-$62.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dalhousie, NB E8C 2R3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Nursing License with NANB (required)
