**Responsibilities**:
RESPONSIBLITIES:
The Storesperson will be responsible for: providing parts, tools and equipment to users from stores; performing the inventory control functions of receiving, shipping, stock keeping, materials and tools issuing and related clerical duties.

Other responsibilities will include: goods handling, preparing documents, records maintenance, housekeeping, inventory control, while ensuring adherence to stores related policies and procedures.

Shift work is required.

**Qualifications**:
Grade 12 or equivalent;
Provincial certification in Industrial Warehousing, Automotive Parts preferred;
Two or three years related industrial stores experience with working knowledge of inventory controls;
Ability to operate a forklift;
Must be able to identify common electro-mechanical parts and general tools;
Must be capable of using a computer for inventory control; and

Applicants must be bondable.

**Other Information**:
Recruitment Process: An applicant will be required to demonstrate their suitability for this position by meeting the minimum level of qualifications and experience in order to be invited into the selection process. A standard interview format will be used including general, scenario and behavioural descriptive interview questions.

**Work Schedule**:
40 hours per week.

This is a temporary full-time position for approximately 6 months.

**Rate of Pay**:
Wage: $45.81 per hour

The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan upon eligibility.
