**Job Overview**

**Qualifications**
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in construction or related fields
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training is an asset
- Own reliable transportation to travel across the GTA (vehicle must be in good working condition)
- Physical stamina to work long hours in various weather conditions
- Proficiency in using common construction tools and equipment (e.g., power drills, saws, hammers, measuring tools)
- Basic understanding of construction plans and blueprints
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Safety-conscious mindset with a thorough understanding of construction site safety protocols
- Valid WHMIS certification and Working at Heights training (or willingness to obtain)
- **Major asset**: Possession of personal hand and/or power tools

**Responsibilities**
- Assist various trade professionals (framers, plumbers, masons, etc.) in their daily tasks
- Assist in the installation of insulation, drywall, and other building materials
- Perform general labor duties such as loading/unloading materials, moving equipment, and site cleanup
- Operate and maintain tools
- Erect and dismantle temporary structures such as scaffolding and barricades
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete, and assist with concrete finishing
- Maintain inventory of supplies and report shortages to the site supervisor
- Ensure proper storage and security of tools and materials on-site
- Participate in regular safety meetings and adhere to all company and legislated safety policies
- Report any safety concerns or potential hazards to the site supervisor immediately
- Other duties as assigned by the site supervisor or project manager

**Requirements**:

- Valid G class driver's license with a clean driving record
- Own reliable transportation to travel across the GTA (vehicle must be in good working condition)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs with assistance
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including potential overtime and weekends
- Proficient English communication skills (verbal and written) for effective team collaboration and safety compliance
- Basic math skills for material calculations and measurements
- Ability to work in confined spaces and at heights
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
