We are looking for a Site Foreman at our Walker Aggregates Division - Grey-Bruce location.

**Site Foreman**

In this role you will supervise the daily activities of a portable processing plant to process and/or manufacture products for our own facilities as well as those of our customers. The Site Foreman ensures the plant operates safely and efficiently while complying with all health and safety and environmental legislation, as well as Walker policies and procedures to producing products of the highest quality.

**Primary Responsibilities**
- Responsible for all day to day operations of a Site Foreman, including but not limited to; mobilization, production, repairs and maintenance, reporting, health, safety and environment
- Manages plant activities to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Provides routine inspection, maintenance and repairs of machines and equipment to ensure plant is operating at optimum levels
- Prepares daily production reports for submission to Operations Manager
- Operate equipment in the most efficient manner as possible, striving to increase productivity while reducing overall downtime and observing the companies safety policies
- Participates in and promotes safety and environmental awareness training. Delivers daily safety huddles and performs regular inspections. Ensures all employees, sub-contractors and consultants adhere to Walker policies
- Provides supervision and leadership to team of production workers to ensure that work is done safely, accurately and efficiently. Provides guidance and motivation, to maintain and enhance competency levels and identify future training requirements

**Skills & Qualifications**
- At least five (5) years of experience in an Aggregate production environment
- At least two (2) years of production and supervisory experience or other relevant experience
- Excellent problem solving and mechanical aptitude
- Valid G Ontario Driver’s License
- Demonstrated ability to plan and oversee the routine workload of a small team and provide constructive direction and performance feedback
- Proficient verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to identify, analyze and resolve problems
