Mould Assembler

Bed castings together, ensuring that all pieces fit together within specifications and that the frame is straight.
- Clean castings using hand tools, ensuring that all casting features are left intact and that casting achieves a smooth surface finish.
- Deburr the mould after machining using a hand grinder.
- Tools are assembled according to customer standard drawings which the employee must consult while assembling.
- Seal the tool with plastic and clean the seal using hand tools. Perform blue seal test.
- Sandblast tool to ensure customer-specified surface finish.
- Finish the tool ensuring all holes or imperfections both on the casting and on the seal are patched. Perform all final touch ups on paint and perform self-inspection. Contact inspector to perform inspection.
- Some machining duties are assigned to skilled employees
- Welding duties are assigned to employees with welding experience and/or training
- Produce and deliver quality products and services on time, every time, right the first time
- Become familiar with The AWC Company Quality Management System, all customer standards, and be prepared to work within all policies and procedures.

Uniforms and benefits are paid for after 3 months. Overtime is paid after 40 hours per week.
