**Warehouse Associate / Shipping Coordinator**

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Associate / Shipping Coordinator. This position is responsible for the timely and efficient completion of all warehousing duties in a productive and safe manner. The Warehouse Associate ensures all customers orders are picked, packed and shipped with 100% compliance to customers’ and company standards. The individual will also be responsible for ensuring all inventory is received and put away according to Mechanix Wear Standard Operating Procedures. As part of the overall Warehouse Team, this position will also be called upon to complete other warehouse tasks such as cycle counting, value added processing, customer kitting and keeping the warehouse in a clean and orderly manner.

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this role requires experience in operating shipping stations and related carrier software programs, full cycle distribution and warehousing experience, a strong attention to detail, and a positive work ethic.

This is a full-time, on-site position working 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Friday. The Warehouse Associate pay rate will be $21.00 - $23.00 per hour depending on experience.

**This is not a singularly focused role. This individual must be comfortable and experienced in multi-tasking on a daily basis.**

**Key Responsibilities**:
**1. Warehousing Duties, **specific duties include but are not limited to:

- Verify orders prior to packing
- Ensure all packages are labeled correctly and prepared for shipment
- Ensure all orders are packed out with the paperwork required
- Select the required shipping material to ensure most efficient dimensional weight
- Communicate with shipping and freight carriers as required
- Palletizing shipments according to various customers’ requirements
- Unpack, inspect, sort and put stock away in appropriate locations
- Lift packages up to 50lbs, organize stock and maintain inventories
- Picks product for customer orders ensuring correct quantities and product accuracy
- Print labels and perform value added processing to inventory according to customers’ requirements
- Ensure pallets and shelving units are in good working conditions
- Assists with other activities surrounding warehouse operations
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment

**Knowledge and Skills**:

- Comfortable multitasking, performing a variety of tasks within tight timelines as required
- Familiar with all order management duties - picking, packing, shipping, receiving, put aways etc
- Experience with a wide range of warehousing and distribution duties, in a fast-paced distribution environment
- Comfortable multitasking, performing a variety of tasks as required
- Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
- Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Professional appearance and manners
- Computer literate; knowledge of warehouse management systems and technology (WMS) shipping and freight systems
- Physical ability to safely lift 50lbs repetitively
- Time management and prioritization skills
- Ability to work well as a part of team as well as independently
- High level of work commitment and attention to detail

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or GED required
- A certificate or diploma in a related field preferred
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a warehouse role with demonstrated experience in all key distribution duties
- 2 Year of reach truck experience
