The Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development, Fair, Safe and Healthy Workplaces Division is seeking a result-oriented professional for their Licensing Review Assessor.

**What can I expect to do in this role?**: In this role you will:
2. Contribute to the analysis and development of licensing processes, guidelines, tools and forms, consumer and public education materials.

3. Conduct the review and analysis of performance indicators, standards, and metrics.

4. Identify and evaluate the quality and effectiveness of programs and processes and potential/existing issues.

5. Work collaboratively with senior colleagues in the coordination of program activities to meet organizational objectives and goals.

6. Develop and present seminars/training programs to unit/branch staff.

7. Guide/participate in the exploration, analysis and development of a segment of programs.

8. Participate in other aspects of program development, including learning frameworks and strategies, frequently regarding matters of a contentious and politically sensitive nature and involving ministry stakeholders.

**How do I qualify?**:
**Mandatory**: You must possess oral and written French language skills at the advanced level. Your proficiency level will be confirmed before hire.

**Legislative Knowledge and Analytical Skills**:

- You are able to contribute to the development and delivery of programs and to the implementation of projects associated with legislated and regulatory obligations in Ontario
- You have the ability to support the successful development and delivery of programs; participate in needs assessment and the analysis and development of a segment of programs.
- You can respond to the ministry's partners' and stakeholders needs in program delivery; conduct research, analysis, and technical examination for the evaluation and assessment of quality program delivery and for the preparation and presentation of recommendations on findings.

**Issues Management Problem Solving Skills**:

- You can provide advice and develop/recommend approaches to respond to the ministry's partners and stakeholders' needs in program delivery.
- You have the ability to identify, address and resolve contentious issues associated with program initiatives/ deliverables.
- You can identify issues, corroborate and substantiate opinions, reactions and feedback from all stakeholders, and recommend changes to programs and processes

**Interpersonal and Technical Skills**:

- You can conduct search and research, analyze, manipulate data/information, and prepare various materials for stakeholders.
- You are able to provide specialized information and advisory services to all partners/stakeholders and other jurisdictions and regulatory bodies on the ministry learning, training and training audit programs and processes.
- You can prepare and present seminar/training presentations; participate on intra/inter-ministerial committees, consultations and forums; prepare presentations, reports, briefing notes, discussion papers and recommendations.
- You are able to promote, manage and maintain effective relationships through consultation and consensus building on the development of programs and the implementation of related initiatives and in support of program objectives and partners and stakeholders engagement.
