Crown Career Pathways is an Indigenous internship program that has been developed in response to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission’s Call to Action #92, which calls for increased employment opportunities for Indigenous peoples.
The program has been developed by Crown Investments Corporation and Saskatchewan’s Crown corporations to provide a mechanism to bridge Indigenous graduates from eligible post-secondary institutes into permanent employment opportunities with the Crown sector, provincial government, or the private sector in Saskatchewan.
The following is the intern position available at SaskWater:

**Job Title**: Business Analyst

As the Business Analyst, you will support SaskWater’s business units by sourcing, and analyzing data and information, public literature, government publications, policy documents, legislation, and regulations. You will conduct research and analysis on policy, risk, and strategy initiatives for SaskWater. You will support various business units on special projects to advance SaskWater’s corporate priorities.
To qualify, you will be a self-declared Indigenous graduate, having graduated within the last two years. You will have a degree in Commerce, Business, Social Science, or similar discipline and hold a valid Class 5 Driver’s License
This is an entry level job, and while previous experience is not required, the job requires skill in the following areas:
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Interpersonal skills to develop working relationships.
- Analytical skills and proficient research capabilities, including qualitative and quantitative analytical skills.
- Computer proficiency including knowledge of the Microsoft Suite.
Special Requirements: The position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Record Check. You must be legally entitled to work in Canada. A valid Saskatchewan driver’s license is required.
