Outreach Coordinator is a vital role within the team at Canada Super Spelling Bee. The outreach coordinator's responsibilities include data collection and analysis, representing our organization during competition planning, and trade fairs, organizing media events, fundraising, coordinating volunteer activities, and other events.

**Role Summary**
- Reach out and connect to Media
- Write the sponsorship proposal and find sources of funds, such as sponsorships or grants

**Desired Skills & Experience**
- University degree in marketing, journalism, public relations, social services, or related field
- 2-3 years’ experience in the field may be advantageous
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong organizational and management skills
- Experience with institutional databases, public access sites, research and analytical skills.
- Exceptional team player
- Knowledge of writing proposals for funding and sponsorships

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- NEPEAN, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
