The landscape gardener is a key position at Able Landscaping Ltd. As the landscape gardener you will be performing all horticultural activities from pruning to flower planting and bed maintenance. The landscape gardener reports directly to the manager, and depending on the tasks, will work individually or in a group setting. This position is fast paced, and the individual hired must be able to work quickly and efficiently. You must be able to communicate well with others and be able to understand written directions. Our sites are throughout the City of Calgary so being able to read a map is a necessity. A valid Class 5 drivers licence is required, NO GDL. Prior horticulture experience is an asset and will be taken into consideration.

Landscape Labours duties will also include mowing, trimming and snow removal services in the winter.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Class 5 drivers licence. No GDL
- Can organize workload and take initiative.
- Able to follow written directions and read a map.
- 1 to 2 years prior experience.
- Work well with others and be self motivated.
- Follow company safety program.

**Working Conditions**:
This position requires physically demanding work in all types of working and weather conditions.

**Salary**: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour based on experience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $23.00-$25.00 per hour
